Founded in 1983 by Lawrence Altman, the Async Research Institute began as a private organization in San José, California, focusing initially on developing MRI Machines before shifting our focus to ███████V31. Eventually, we rebranded to the Async Foundation. On December 11th, 1990, we ended ████████V31 and were forced to shutdown all operations until further notice by the U.S. Department of Energy. On September 1st, 2026, we were able to work again.
Now, we're known as "async corp.", a modern and simplistic name. We focus on new project such as Project IW12, which for now, is redacted.
